The Strider Essential series models, ST70F-ES has 80 PLUS certification level efficiency and single +12V rail design. Its quiet running fan ensures stable performance with minimum noise while its solid design and components support up to 40 degrees for 24/7 operation. The ST70F-ES can also fully support multi-GPU systems with 8pin/6pin PCI-E connectors. From a value and performance standpoint, the Strider Essential series is an outstanding choice.
At the time of purchase this was perhaps the best 700w non-modular unit on the market for the price. Being an OEM unit the packaging was sparse and the flash of the product is an absolute minimum but inside is what counts. This single rail 50A 80+ will outperform many 850w name brand units. If two-way SLI or Crossfire is your goal and you're budget oriented I couldn't recommend a better buy.

OP1000P was built to withstand enormous loading requirements of high-end industrial server PCs. Rated at above average temperature of 50°C, its ability is unmatched by ordinary power supplies. The OP1000-Plus has voltage regulation within ±3% for outstanding stability with a compact size (160mm) for easy integration and six PCI-E 6 pin and quad PCI-E 8 pin connectors to support most graphic cards on the market easily. If the goal is to build a high level multi-core CPU and GPU system, the OP1000-P is a great choice.
I have used this PSU for a while now but have had tow units fail one of which failed within 6months of use still to return it. Fed up with this model already. My PC is powered via a UPS which regulates power to the unit and the PC so I shudder to think how many failures I would have if powered directly. Not sure if I will buy another Silverstone PSU even though I think this OP1000 has been phased out, there has to be more reliable PSU manufacturer out there.

I got the TX 850M PSU and the "M" tag is a complete joke. There are only 4 modular connections and the rest come in your standard mess of power cables.Other then that it's a good PSU and can handle my system really well.My only grip is that:The "M" tag is completely misleading. The images in Amazon don't preview the back of the PSU to show you this. The specifications don't mention the amount of modular connections.

This is quiet power supply. It's not fully modular but the main cables that are generally used are the permanent cables while cables such as additional GPUs are the modular ones. Has more than enough power to run two GTX 560TIs. Cables are stiff but still easily routable to components. Comes with nice velvet bag which was nice for extra cable storage. After using this in my gaming build I will be buying the 550M for another PC with a failing/noisy Antek PSU.Corsair CC600TWMCooler Master Hyper 212 EVOIntel Core i7-2600KEVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti Superclocked (x2)Corsair Vengeance Blue 16 GB 1600mhzASUS P8Z68-V PROKingston HyperX 120GB SH100S3BCorsair TX V2 Series 850MWD Caviar Black 2 TB WD2002FAEX (x2)

As usual silver stone power supply are expensive. But they do deliver efficient, silent and modular power supply. Imo the price isn't a problem when you buy a power supply that meet the watts that's written on the box and offer peak over this. They're worth all the extra cash you spend imo.

If the goal is to build a future proof multi-core CPU and GPU system, the OP1000-E is a must have with its 80A +12V single rail.
I have used this Power supply for almost 3 years, really reliable and quiet. Powered my 2 GeForce 9800 GTX+ OC 1024 MB without any problems. Only cons I found is the cable management; since it has a lot of cables to spare, so if you dont have a good computer case for cable management you will have some problems. Even though after almost 3 years for me its time for a change.

This power supply worked great in a recent home theater PC build. Purchased with the modular cable kit. Fan is quiet and keeps everything extremely cool. The modular cable kit is what sold me on this power supply originally. $80 for a fully modular, 80 Plus Bronze certified PSU was totally worth it. Buy this PSU and you will not be disappointed.

The Decathlon series is highly recommended for overclocking enthusiasts and the DA1000 is no different by providing the simplicity of 100% modular cable managing system with the all-mighty 80A +12V single rail. Capable of outputting 1000 watts of pure adrenaline to any multi-processors CPUs through its dual PCI-E 8pin connectors and six PCI-E 6pin connectors, the DA1000 can support a variety of power usage up to three high-end graphic cards effortlessly. If you are looking to find something that will provide stable and continuous power to your multi-processors system with top of the line power hungry add-ons, then the low ripple and noise within +/-3% voltage regulation of this all-around power will definitely carry out its task with ease.
I didn't realize most of my computer problems over the last few years were probably related to the piece of junk thermaltake 430W power supply I was using. After some research, i decided this look like a good investment and it works great. The computer consumes about 300W under normal usage (3 drives almost always on, probably more like 5 on the raid), but the oversize and available power let it work very efficiently. This 1000W actually uses less power than my 430W did.

Is a perfect PSU for a Gaming Rig.Need Power?? Get a SilverStone Strider Plus...Perfect for OC enthusiast.. SLI & CrossFire X ready, lot of cables and the best is a modular PSU, very very silent 135mm fan. The only Issue is that you need a huge Chassis for the wired, cuz if you have a SLI config you have to use 4 cables (just for PCI-E) plus +12V EPS, +12V 24Pin + Peripherals. In my case i used 7 cables (2 PCI-E, 3 Peripherals, +12V EPS, +12V 24Pin) and i have the CM 690 by Cooler Master. is a huge case but not enough for this PSU. :DIn Less Words, i Highly Recommends this PSU.

Continuing on with venerable features of SilverStone Strider series, the ST1200 is an excellent power supply which can reach 1200 Watt output with efficiency greater than 80% and with 100% modular cable system. Its full array of amenities such as dual PCI-E 8pin, six PCI-E 6pin, and six SATA connectors can support various power usage and up to three high-end graphic cards easily. Cooled by a quiet 135mm fan, the ST1200 is an awe-inspiring power supply with exceptional stability and optimal efficiency.
Alienware introduced me to SilverStone by using one of their 650W power supplies in an Aurora 7500 I purchased back in 2005. That same power supply has performed flawlessly since then, pumping out the power in a box rife with overclocking, 8 SATA drives, 2 DVDs, a flagship (at the time) GeForce 7800GTX 512, SB X-Fi and an Athlon X2 4200+ for more than six years. A year ago, I replaced the ASUS A8N SLI Deluxe with an eVGA X58 SLI X3, a Core i7 920 and 12 GB of RAM. The SilverStone took up the banner for these new parts without complaint. After six years, the 7800 GTX 512 has finally reached the limit, and I want to play Skyrim. :D Unfortunately, my 650W SilverStone does not have the necessary 8-pin PCI-E power supplies needed for the video cards I picked out, so with a sense of regret, I have decided upon the ultimate act of betrayal. This 1200W SilverStone PSU arrived in a nice box with a few "warm fuzzy" extras, like zip ties, velcro straps and a storage pouch to keep your unused modular power cords in. It has easy to read labels on every modular connection, and they were all connected upon arrival. The large bottom fan makes a good replacement for the smaller rear-facing fan in my old supply, and the power cables are actually slightly longer than those on the previous supply. There are enough SATA power cables to plug in the four drives in my main array located at the bottom front of a full size ATX tower case, while being routed through the back, hidden cable channels.…

For users with mission-critical systems or file servers, nothing is more important than a power supply with always up reliability and redundancy. With the pervious venerable Gemini ST46GF and ST55GF models as the starting point, SilverStone improves every aspect of the former from specification to user impression. By combining proven industrial grade components and a focus on performance, the amazing dual 500W independent power packs stowed inside a PS/2 frame enable the possibility to enjoy the bullet-proof security of a 24/7 server in just about any case and any system!
This is not your average power supply. There is no reason for putting this in a desktop. This power supply is for up time-critical applications. I.e. minutes of down time cost some serious money $$. For example, I have Doctor A who sees patients every hour, he makes ~$300 per patient. If the power supply were to fail, he/she would have to call an I.T. tech or attempt to reinstall a power supply by himself. Let's assume this takes at least an hour. (Which is quite low considering how long it would take to diagnose a PSU failure and the amount of time for the I.T. tech to get there). The Doctor has now just lost $300 in that hour and needs to buy a new power supply (~500W is about $60-80 for a good brand) and needs to pay the I.T. tech to diagnose/switch out the power supply (~200-300 for emergency onsite IT services). Now the total loss in that hour is about $300+$200+$80=$580). Now if Doctor A had a redundant PSU, he would hear an audible alarm should one of the units fail and can replace it by simply pulling out of the failed unit why the computer is on and replace it with a new one. No downtime. A UPS serves a different purpose than a redundant PSU.Pros:- It is in fact 80+ Silver Certified instead of 80+ Bronze as Amazon's description indicates- 500W redundant- Relatively low price- Audible alarm- LED indicator if your prefer a visual alarm- Will fit ATX midtowers/full towers (even though it is mini/PS2)Cons:- Heavy (takes about 9/10 screws vs the 4 screws on a standard ATX…
